L. B. Inc. Hosting

We have monkeys and cheese!

The Terms of Service

In addition to the ToS available here the following conditions apply:

  1. Hosting is to be used primarily for a a weblog/photoblog, personal website, gallery, forum or wiki. Any other use only with our express permission.
  2. Hosting may not be used for online storage or filesharing.
  3. Any site hosted with us must link back to L. B. Inc. on their front page. L. B. Inc. will link to all sites actively hosted with us.
  4. We also require that any site hosted by us carry the following donation link:

Donate towards my web hosting bill!

    Here’s the code:

    <a href="http://www.dreamhost.com/donate.cgi?id=6774"><img border="0" alt="Donate towards my web hosting bill!" src="https://secure.newdream.net/donate4.gif" /></a>

Alternatively, this text link can be used instead.

  5. From 1st August 2007 all new accounts must be fully operational within one month of activation. The accounts will be hosted indefinitely as long as they are actively used.

L. B. Inc. reserves the right to refuse or terminate hosting if any of the above Terms of Service are breached. Prior notice will be given wherever possible.

L. B. Inc. also reserves the right to throttle bandwidth and/or suspend access to a site if the monthly quota is exceeded. However, this step will only be taken in extreme cases if increased traffic causes difficulty to other hostees.

Naturally, we reserve the right to change these rules at any time… though we probably won’t. :)

Duration of Service

Hosting will be provided indefinitely (or till Hell freezes over (whichever comes first)) as long as the ToS is not breached. The user is responsible for all backups and L. B. Inc. is not responsible for loss of service or data due to unforeseen circumstances.

We kindly request that you only contact us for free hosting if you intend to fully utilize this service: i.e. create and maintain a site on the hosting provided. We ask this because we will only be giving out a limited number of accounts and if you do not utilize your account you may be denying that space from someone who could put it to better use. At present we will not enforce this, however if the number of inactive accounts exceeds 50% of the total then further steps may be taken.

As this is a free service all we ask is that you obey the rules, play nice and have some fun. Hugging iguanas and shaving Llamas is fine, but in your own time.
